Sarah Laver an Accredited BACP Psychotherapist in practice since 2001<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was trained as a psychotherapist when working in the Royal Navy, I qualified and started my practice in 2001. During the course of my career, and as well as running my own private practice, I have worked in a wide variety of working environments including Local Authorities, HM Services, The Armed Forces, MOD and many charitable organisations both in the UK and worldwide. I carry my own professional insurance, as well as being affiliated and an Accredited Member with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists BACP.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the course of my work I have helped clients recognise the impediments that get in the way of them being able to live their lives to the full. Having insight into the difficulties you face and how to process and change these issues, means you then have the power of choice, which enables you to challenge some of the most fundamental negative self-beliefs that you might carry consciously or unconsciously about yourself. I have successfully worked with childhood trauma, abusive relationships, narcissistic abuse, PTSD, CPSD, anxiety , stress, low self-esteem, alcohol misuse, addiction, agoraphobia, communication difficulties and generational trauma.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
